back tracking...Little Man turns 2!!!

Blogging day number 2!  Yea for me.  Two days in a row!  Today was Daddy's first day of work in 2013.  We have thoroughly enjoyed him being home with us for the last several days!  It has been great! Since he wasn't home we decided to get out of the house and join some friends at Frog Legs!  For those of you that aren't familiar with Frog Legs it is an indoor play place for kids.  They have inflatables and a few toys for the littles.  Mostly it is a place for kids to go to use some of the endless energy that they have.  : )  Bunny loves it, Little Man is not so much there yet.  He basically just walked around and gave everyone his "dirty" look.  It is quite a funny look.  If I can ever catch it on camera, I will definitely post it.  

My plan for days that we don't do much is to back track and post on past events.  So...today...Owen's 2nd Birthday.

It is hard for me to believe that This boy...

came into our lives 2 years ago a wee bit earlier than we expected!  We called Him our "Little Engine that could" from the start.  That little name foreshadowed his current love of trains. Since He loves trains so much He had a Polar Express party earlier in the month. More on that later.  But sticking with the Train themed month that we have had Bunny and I made a cake and stuck a Thomas the Train on it.  Bunny LOVES to help out in the kitchen! The whole time she kept asking why Owen was having ANOTHER party.  : ) The big difference was that it was just the four of us this time.

He LOVED this train from Bunny!  He was so excited (as you can see by the look on His face) when He opened it.  

And from Mommy and Daddy...  You guessed it...a Train!  He LOVED it!

He hasn't quite grasped the fact that he has to continue to hold down the button to make it "doo" as He says.  He was actually happy just sitting on it while watching tv.  This boy loves a train!

I think he had a good day.  Little Man had just enough energy at the end of it to chill with His sister for a little while.  

He has added so much fun, laughter and life to our family since He was born!  Although I worried about Him while He was in the hospital right after being born three weeks early I am so thankful that we have had an extra three weeks to spend with this sweet, precious little man!
