Finally!!! Bunny's pink candy party pictures are loaded.
Let me begin by saying that I will NEVER again plan another party outside in February. We went from it being scheduled one weekend to rescheduling it because of cold weather and wind. ONLY to discover that the date we rescheduled it to was calling for 90 % chance of rain at one point. Needless to say I was checking the weather app every night and every evening to see if anything had changed. And PRAISE GOD we ended up with a dry few hours of play/party time for Bunny's party. And seeing this reaction to her seeing the bouncy house for the first time was worth all the stressing...
I will have to say that it was still WET on party day. The ground was wet and soggy. We couldn't get the inside of the bouncy house totally dry so it was wet inside. With that being the case there were a lot of wet soggy and cold feet all around. For that I am sorry to the parents that were there but in all honesty if those kids are anything like Bunny, they didn't care. After a little while of jumping we moved to the back porch for sweets and cupcakes! When I asked Bunny what type of party she wanted all she said was PINK. So...I went with it and coupled it with the fact that she LOVES candy. We had chocolate, marshmallows, "white yummy things" (white donuts), gum balls, trix sticks (super yummy snack made by Grandy), skittles, cupcake cones and pink lemonade. ALL of Bunny's favorites. I don't think she knew where to begin! Here she is while we all sang "Happy Birthday" to her. Like Grandy said, it was almost as if she was looking around trying to take it all in while we were singing. So cute!!!

I found this little cutie getting some play time in while the other kids were still eating/playing in the play house. Couldn't you just eat her with a spoon!?!
And here is Little Man...He topped the stairs saying "HEY!!!". And so it begins.
A little more bounce time before the party was over. Bunny had such a good time playing with all of her friends!

Then the Three Musketeers went for a ride to Ms. J's new house! Bunny was on the back of the cart, buckled in before I could blink! Thank you Ms. J and Ms. K for letting her ride along.

After all of her friends left this girl jumped and jumped! She had a great time! And since we had it all weekend the next day was spent jumping too. She asked Daddy Dearest if we HAD to take it back.
Overall I think Bunny had a great time! She has been talking about this party since April of last year! She would tell random strangers AT LEAST once a week that her friends were coming to her birthday party! So, I knew it had to be a great one for her. She had enough candy to last her a month! She got to play with her friends! And everything that could possibly be pink, was pink. I think she would call that great!
She brings so much sunshine to our lives each and every day I hope this was a bright memory for her!
I will say it again, it is HARD to believe that she is FOUR! Time with her has flown for sure! As much as I would love to keep her this age I know new adventures await us in the days and months to follow. For that I am so thankful I get a front row seat to see!
HAPPY PINK 4th BIRTHDAY SWEET GIRL!!!
And just so I won't forget this...after telling me this night it was the BEST party EVER. She asked when her "night" party (like Little Man had) would be. : ) And after being up all day (no nap despite all the bouncing) and talking NINETY TO NOTHING because of all of the sugar...this girl crashed.

Such a fun, precious party! Thanks for having us!! And you got some really great pictures! Happy Birthday Bunny!
