Three Christmas', better late than never

Okay, so very sorry it has taken so long to get this on here but here it is, none the less.

Our Christmas was full of family and fun! We started our 'Three Christmas'' at Papa and Grandy's house. Daddy Dearest has a brother that lives in L.A. that was in town with His Fiancee' as was His other brother and His wife and children. Here are two of those "Children" below with Bunny.

There has been one other year in which everyone was gathered at P and G's house in the past couple of years. D.D. and I were dating at the time. I spent some time during Christmas with the family but left on Christmas Eve to be with my family. So, this was the first year that I was able to relax and hang out with EVERYONE. It was GREAT! I absolutely love that there are 5 different things going on at one time and you can decide which you want to do at what time. We had a great time on Christmas Eve!!!! Here is a picture of everyone...

Christmas Eve was also Bunny's first experience of opening gifts! It was SOOO fun watching her look at the packages and bows. Here she is with D.D. getting ready to open some gifts.

She was so funny to watch. If a strip of paper was started for her she would pull it a little then stop and look at it again. I don't think she really knew what to think about all of it.

Here she is opening her sweet babydoll.

We went home on Christmas Eve night to get ready for Santa Clause to visit us for the first time. We had SO much to do! We had to make cookies to share with Santa and put carrots out for the reindeer.
DD grew up receiving pj's on Christmas Eve. Last year I did this for Daddy. THIS year I was able to do this for Daddy and Bunny. I was so excited to start this tradition with her this year. Here they are in their Christmas pj's.

Bunny in her "My First Christmas" pajamas at supper time...

One more thing before letting "visions of sugar plums dance through" our heads. We had to read "The Night Before Christmas" before going to bed. This is another thing that I have ALWAYS dreamed of doing when I had children. It was so fun! Bunny wanted to open and close the book over and over. Which made reading it a little difficult.

As we had everything marked off the list we snuggled into our beds and waited on Santa to visit. Santa DID visit and then CAME BACK and stayed with us for a little while to watch us open our gifts!!!

Daddy Dearest didn't care that I was all snuggled up with Santa for the picture above. I had to say "Thank You" for making our Christmas so magical! I mean anyone that makes my Bunny smile like this...

deserves a big hug! Here we are about to open some gifts on Christmas morning! She absolutely LOVED the bows on the presents.

Here is Bunny with Santa. She was so excited that He came back and watched her open her gifts for her very first Christmas.

Just look at that sweet smile on Bunny's face! PRICELESS!!!

Here is my oh so GREAT, SNUGGIE!!!!! I was SO excited Santa brought this to me!

Last year Daddy and I started a tradition of making a gingerbread house on Christmas day. This is our second year to do one. It was fun to do it again and include Bunny! Here is this years house in the making...

Here is the finished product...

Christmas day was over before I knew it. I have decided that we should have Christmas WEEK. There is just so much work that goes into preparing that it is hard to fit it all in to one day. This year was years and years of dreaming that became reality. It was REALLY dreams and dreams that came true. I am already looking forward to next year. I am so excited to get to do this every year! Fun times!!!!
On to Christmas number THREE...we were off to Nana and Gran's house. Bunny enjoyed her third day of opening gifts. Her Aunt K and cousins were there. It was so great to visit with them!!! Here is Bunny opening another gift! I think by this time she just enjoyed watching me or Daddy open the gift. She still enjoyed seeing what it but was done with the actual opening of them.

Here she is getting her UGG boots. She has been more interested in the fur lining of them since she has received them.

Bunny's cousin was a great help opening gifts! I think Bunny had more fun WATCHING her help than actually opening the gifts herself. She LOVES to watch big kids!!!

We had a great time with my family also! It is always a joy to have family under one roof! I wish that we did it more.
This Christmas was just MAGICAL for me. I have waited and dreamed about Christmas with my own Husband and kids that it was like I had gotten (for Christmas) what I had been wanting for so long. I am so very excited about the years in the future and how much fun they will be as well. I absolutely had the TIME OF MY LIFE!
